Through 2019, CSTE would outsource branding for its annual conferences. I’d work around the existing identity for things like social media graphics and plenary slideshows. In order to build better recognition year-to-year, I pitched an identity for 2020–22. Eventually we’ll revisit the design for fear of getting stale, but I’m quite happy with the wordmark’s versatility.
